We are a parent ~ teacher cooperative school located on the East Side of Providence. With Toddler, Nursery and Pre-School programs, our curriculum is structured around the philosophy that children learn best through play.

As a cooperative, we differ in many ways from other pre-school programs. Parents and teachers work together to create a positive early educational experience for our children. Child’s Play is a network of families, friends and teachers who are enriched through the active participation in making the school run.

We have a wonderfully experienced staff that provides a safe, supportive and nurturing classroom for our children. Small class sizes with 5:1 ratio and an exceptional facility with large, bright rooms and full indoor and outdoor play areas ensures that each child receives a rich, fostering learning environment in their early, formative years.

Child’s Play is certified and licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Education and DCYF. Child’s Play is also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
