Child's Play is a parent-teacher cooperative school located on the East Side of Providence. With Toddler, Nursery and Preschool programs, our curriculum is structured around the philosophy that children learn best through play.

TODDLER

This program runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 am to 12:00pm. There are 10 children in this class, one teacher, one teacher's assistant, and one duty parent. Parent duty days number approximately 10 throughout the school year. In the Toddler class, children must be 2 years old on or by September 1st of the year in which they are enrolled.

NURSERY

This program runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There are 15 children in this class with one teacher, one teacher's assistant and one duty parent. Parent duty days number approximately 10 mornings throughout the school year. In the Nursery program, children must be 3 years old on or by September 1st of the year in which they are enrolled.

PRESCHOOL

The core preschool program runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There are 20 children in this class with one teacher, one teacher's assistant and two duty parents. Parent duty days number approximately 10 mornings per school year. In the preschool program, children must be 4 years old on or by September 1st of the year in which they are enrolled.
